Job summary

Coinbase seeks a Product Manager for the DeFi Borrow team to own the end-to-end experience of crypto-backed lending within the Coinbase Consumer app. You will shape the product vision, drive a multi-year roadmap, and lead cross-functional teams across web and mobile to deliver secure, scalable loan flows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management shipping consumer or prosumer financial products.
• Experience with lending, credit, or collateralized products.
• Familiarity with onchain concepts and DeFi lending protocols.
• Ability to translate strategy into roadmaps and experiments.
• Experience using quantitative analysis to inform decisions.
• Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Own the DeFi Borrow product area end-to-end, from vision and strategy through execution, launch, and ongoing iteration across web and mobile.
• Drive the multi-year roadmap for crypto-backed loans, spanning initial borrow flows, advanced loan management, refinancing, and new product surfaces.
• Define OKRs across workstreams and lead cross-functional teams to deliver against them.
• Partner with Engineering to ship resilient, scalable borrowing experiences balancing speed, safety, and reliability.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Finance to ensure products meet regulatory and controls expectations.
• Build operational rigor through launch runbooks and incident playbooks to stay reliable during volatility.
