Motorola Solutions, a leader in mission-critical comms, seeks a Business Development Engineer, USSOCOM, into its Silvus Technologies group. The role bridges RF capabilities with USSOCOM needs, supporting field tests and strategic demos while traveling up to 50%.

You will work closely with Engineering and Business Development to translate field feedback into product roadmaps and customer-ready solutions for multi-domain environments.

Competenze

• BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech roles.
• Exposure to SDRs or tactical communication systems.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• Must be a U.S. citizen; background check and drug test required.

Mansioni

• Analyze USSOCOM capability gaps and map needs to tactical radio solutions.
• Plan, configure networks, and run field trials and user evaluations.
• Collaborate to benchmark architectures and verify technical validity.
• Support Business Development with technical demos and RFI/RFPs.
• Travel up to 50% to customer sites and labs; remote work possible per location.
