Silvus is seeking a Business Development Engineer, US Air Force to join the Applications Engineering team. This role bridges technical RF capabilities with Department of the Air Force requirements and emerging trends, supporting demonstrations and field tests across airborne, surface, and expeditionary environments.

You will collaborate with Engineering and Business Development to verify architectures, translate field feedback into product roadmaps, and travel up to 50% for tests and meetings,

Competenze

• Bachelor-level STEM degree or equivalent with several years in defense/technologies.
• Experience with SDRs, IP routing, and tactical comms is preferred.
• Familiarity with RF test gear and basic scripting for testing.

Mansioni

• Support technical planning, field trials, and live air-field evaluations.
• Collaborate with engineering and BD to benchmark proposed architectures.
• Align technical work with strategic priorities and customer needs.
• Build tech demonstrations for airborne, edge, and base networking needs.
• Conduct market research on partner integrations and end-to-end networks.
• Engage Air Force stakeholders and translate feedback into roadmap inputs.
• Travel up to 50% and support remote/demonstration activities.
