Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a leading provider of advanced MANET and MIMO communications systems, seeks a Business Development Engineer for the US Air Force to bridge radio frequency capabilities with Air Force requirements. The role supports field trials, demonstrations, and ongoing technical support across airborne and expeditionary environments.

The position involves up to 50% travel and offers a remote working option depending on location, with collaboration across engineering and business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a C5ISR field and 2–5 years in systems engineering, tech business development, or defense tech roles.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP routing, or tactical communication systems.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Support technical planning, network configuration, and field trial execution.
• Collaborate with engineering and business teams to verify solution architectures.
• Align technical activities with strategic priorities and customer needs.
• Develop technical demonstrations for airborne, edge, and expeditionary networks.
• Conduct market research for integrations with industry partners and test end‑to‑end networks.
• Engage with Air Force program offices and laboratories to translate requirements into roadmaps.
