Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with US Air Force requirements. You will work with engineering and BD to showcase StreamCaster radios across airborne and ground environments, while supporting field tests and roadmap inputs.

The role involves up to 50% travel and a flexible remote work option depending on location, with emphasis on web-based demonstrations, interoperability, and mission-focused performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related C5ISR field with 2–5 years of demonstrated experience in systems engineering or defense technology roles.
• Exposure to or working knowledge of SDRs, IP-based routing protocols, or tactical communication systems.
• Basic familiarity with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
• Security Clearance: Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• Citizen due to clients under U.S. government requirements.
• Practical experience with TCP/IP networking, Linux environments, or scripting languages (e.g., Python, C++) for test automation.

Responsabilités

• Support field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations with technical planning and live-on-air execution.
• Collaborate with engineering and BD to benchmark and verify solution architectures.
• Maintain alignment with BD to support technical needs and strategic priorities.
• Build and present demonstrations for airborne, edge, and expeditionary airbase networking.
• Conduct market research for potential integrations with industry partners.
• Engage with Air Force PEOs, AFRL, AFLCMC, TOC‑L leads on technical discussions.
• Translate field feedback into product roadmap inputs and track progress.
• Travel up to 50% for field tests and demonstrations.
