Job summary

RTX is seeking a Test Solutions Software Engineer on-site in Tucson to design, develop, and integrate software for mission-critical defense systems. You will work with hardware teams to build robust test environments and ensure software runs reliably across the product lifecycle.

You will collaborate with systems, electrical, and mechanical engineers, participate in design and code reviews, and apply Agile and Waterfall lifecycles to deliver high-quality software tools and test solutions.

Qualifications

• Advanced STEM degree (must be obtained by start date).
• Experience with one or more programming languages: C, C++, C#, Python, or VB/VBA/.NET.
• Proficiency with Windows development using Microsoft Visual Studio IDE.
• Experience may come from on-the-job work, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and integrate OO software applications for Windows.
• Develop system-level software requirements and architectures.
• Troubleshoot and optimize software for accuracy and reliability.
