Job summary

RTX is seeking a software-focused intern for the Test Solutions Engineering team in Tucson, AZ. You will design and build software tools interfacing with engineering hardware across the product lifecycle, from lab demos to production testing.

The role requires an Advanced STEM degree by start date and experience with Windows-based development in Visual Studio, Git, and modern languages. On-site work with security clearance considerations applies.

Qualifications

• Advanced STEM degree obtained by start date.
• Experience developing, testing, or integrating software using C/C++, Python, or C#.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and integrate object-oriented software and test software for Windows.
• Derive system-level software requirements and architectural designs.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with systems, electrical, and mechanical engineers to integrate tools with hardware.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and defect resolution.
• Work in Agile and Waterfall lifecycles.
