Job summary

RTX is seeking a Test Solutions Engineer in Tucson, AZ to design, build, and integrate state-of-the-art electrical test systems for defense products. You will work within a multidisciplinary hardware team to ensure performance and reliability across development labs, production, and field operations.

This onsite role requires a STEM advanced degree, hands-on lab experience with test equipment, and the ability to collaborate across engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• Advanced STEM degree required by start date.
• Experience selecting and integrating passive/active electronic components in analog or digital designs.
• Experience operating lab test equipment (oscilloscopes, analyzers) to test hardware.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate electrical test products, adapters, cabling, and fixtures.
• Create schematics, board layouts, and documentation per industry/defense standards.
• Validate hardware with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, analyzers, power meters).
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware integration issues across dev and production.
• Support project execution to meet technical performance, schedule, and budget.
• Collaborate with systems, mechanical, software, and reliability engineers.
