Job summary

RTX is seeking a software-focused professional to join the Test Solutions Engineering team in Tucson, developing cutting-edge software that interfaces with engineering hardware across the lifecycle—from lab demos to production testing.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, implement robust test tools, and apply OO design in a structured Agile/Waterfall environment, contributing to mission-critical defense systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM field required by start date.
• Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Python.
• Experience developing Windows applications using Visual Studio.
• Experience can be through work, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and integrate OO software applications and test software.
• Develop system-level software requirements and architectural designs.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software for accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with systems, electrical, and mechanical engineers to integrate tools.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and defect resolution.
• Work with Agile and Waterfall lifecycles.
