Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a highly skilled Solution/Sales Engineer to operate across the DoW ecosystem, engaging with military offices and defense contractors. You will run discovery, architect cloud solutions, build POCs, and address technical barriers to adoption, including agentic AI capabilities.

You will articulate security and compliance posture, contribute to RFI/RFPs, and collaborate with sales and product teams to scale DoW deployments across portfolio offerings.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a Solution or Sales Engineer for CRM, enterprise SaaS, or mission IT with DoW/defense customers preferred.
• Hands‑on Agentforce, Data Cloud, and Salesforce Platform builder to prototype agentic workflows and data pipelines.
• Practical AI fluency: LLMs, RAG/grounding, agentic design, governance, and production safety considerations for DoW.
• Deep discovery and MVP scoping to define use cases, success criteria, and activation plan.
• Familiarity with DoW compliance frameworks.
• Strong written, verbal, and whiteboard communication for diverse audiences.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast-paced, team‑selling environment.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoW security clearance; travel domestically.

Responsibilities

• Engage DoW customers to understand mission requirements, constraints, and technical environments.
• Map requirements to Salesforce portfolio: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, MuleSoft, Tableau, and GovCloud products.
• Design and deliver demos and POCs for DoW use cases across HR, logistics, acquisition, and workforce ops.
• Prototype Agentforce solutions for DoW environments, including agentic workflows and governance patterns.
• Explain Salesforce security and compliance posture to evaluators, ISSOs, and program offices.
• Contribute technical content for RFI/RFP responses and architecture documentation.
• Collaborate with Account Executives, Capture Managers, and Customer Success to support pipelines.
• Build reusable POC assets, playbooks, and best practices for broad DoW delivery.
• Provide Voice of the Customer insights to Product and Marketing teams.
