Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an experienced Sales/Solution Engineer to operate across the DoW ecosystem, engaging with military program offices and defense contractors. You will architect cloud solutions, run discovery, and deliver POCs with agentic AI components to support mission-critical deployments.

The role requires hands-on experience with Agentforce, Data Cloud, and Salesforce platforms, plus familiarity with DoW compliance and security requirements. Travel domestically may be required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a Solution or Sales Engineer for CRM, enterprise SaaS, or mission IT with defense domain experience preferred.
• Hands‑on experience prototyping agentic workflows, automation, and data pipelines.
• Working knowledge of LLMs, RAG/grounding, agentic system design, and governance concerns for DoW environments.
• Ability to run technical and business discovery, define use cases, and produce feasible architecture plans.
• Familiarity with DoW compliance frameworks.
• Strong written, verbal, and whiteboard communication from developer to C‑suite, and COTR.

Responsibilities

• Engage with DoW customers to understand mission requirements and technical environments.
• Map requirements to Salesforce portfolio: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, MuleSoft, Tableau, and Government Cloud Plus Defense.
• Design, build, and deliver tailored demos and POCs for DoW use cases across HR, logistics, and program management.
• Prototype Agentforce solutions for DoW environments including grounding, governance, and production readiness.
• Articulate Salesforce security posture and authorization scopes to evaluators and program offices.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses with technical content and architecture documentation.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and Capture Managers to support pipeline and pursuits.
• Create reusable POC assets and playbooks to scale DoW delivery.
