Motorola Solutions, a global leader enabling mission-critical communications, seeks a Business Development Engineer for USSOCOM. You will bridge RF capabilities with SOF requirements, supporting field trials and network design across tactical environments.

In this role, you will collaborate with Applications Engineering and Business Development, travel up to 50% to customer sites and labs, and contribute to shaping the product roadmap while ensuring interoperability and low-signature operations.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer/Network Eng or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years experience.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP-based routing, or tactical comms systems.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
• Security clearance: Govt SECRET or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• Experience with TCP/IP networking, Linux, or scripting languages (e.g., Python, C++).
• Ability to work in remote teams and travel up to 50%.

Mansioni

• Support USSOCOM capability gaps and SOF-peculiar comm requirements.
• Demonstrate technical capabilities and interoperability of StreamCaster MANET radios.
• Plan networks, configure systems, and execute field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Business Development to align roadmaps with operational needs.
• Translate field feedback into product roadmap inputs.
