Motorola Solutions seeks a Business Development Engineer for USSOCOM to bridge RF capabilities with SOF customer needs. You’ll support field trials, demonstrations, and strategic engagements to align technology with mission requirements.

The role involves up to 50% travel and a strong emphasis on collaboration with engineering and business development teams. Applicants should hold a relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience, possess security clearance, be a U.S.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field with 2-5 years of experience, or High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant technical or defense experience.
• Exposure to Software-Defined Radios (SDRs), IP-based routing protocols, or tactical communication systems.
• Basic familiarity with RF test equipment, such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen for clients under U.S. government contracts.
• All employment contingent upon successful background check and drug test.

Mansioni

• Assist in analyzing USSOCOM capability gaps and operational needs, mapping them to tactical radio solutions.
• Support technical planning, network configuration, and live-on-the-air field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Business Development to ensure technically sound solution architectures.
• Maintain alignment with Business Development to support technical needs and strategic priorities.
• Assist in building technical demonstrations for low-signature and tactical edge requirements.
• Review and contribute to RFI/RFP proposal responses.
• Conduct market research for potential integrations and end-to-end network architectures.
• Engage with USSOCOM stakeholders and SOF leaders to align needs with product roadmap inputs.
