Motorola Solutions is seeking a Business Development Engineer for the US Air Force to bridge RF capabilities with customer requirements. You will support field trials, demonstrations, and alignment with Air Force stakeholders, traveling up to 50% while enabling remote work where location allows.

The role requires 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech, familiarity with SDRs, TCP/IP, Linux, and scripting. A SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one is required.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related C5ISR field.
• Security clearance: Government SECRET or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• Experience in systems engineering or defense technology roles.
• Exposure to SDRs and IP routing protocols is a plus.

Mansioni

• Support technical planning, network configuration, and live field trials.
• Collaborate with Applications Engineering to verify solution architectures.
• Coordinate with Business Development to meet strategic priorities.
• Build and present technical demos for airborne and expeditionary networking needs.
• Perform market research on potential integrations with industry partners.
• Engage with Air Force program offices and AFRL for stakeholder alignment.
• Gather field feedback to inform product roadmap inputs.
