Job summary

Veregy in Oakland, CA seeks a Preconstruction Project Manager to guide projects from 30% design through construction-ready design and turnover to Operations. You will coordinate due diligence, external engineering, permitting, and client requirements to ensure accurate, on-time deliverables.

The ideal candidate has a 5+ year track record in preconstruction or PM roles, a degree in CM/Engineering/Business, and strong leadership and communication skills to align Development, Sales, Engineering,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field.
• Commercial solar or energy services experience preferred.
• Five+ years in preconstruction, PM, or engineering coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction with Development, Sales, Engineering, Operations.
• Coordinate due diligence, site investigations and permitting.
• Develop and maintain preconstruction schedule and budget.
• Manage external engineering firms and RFIs.
• Ensure turnover to Operations with complete documentation.
