Job summary

The Preconstruction Project Manager will oversee projects from turnover at 30% design through construction-ready design, coordinating due diligence, external engineering, permitting, and design reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Commercial solar experience required.
• Five+ years in preconstruction, project management, or related field.
• Experience coordinating architects, engineers, contractors, utilities, permitting authorities, and other external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction planning from 30% design through construction-ready design and turnover to Operations.
• Coordinate due diligence, site investigations, surveys, studies, reports, and supporting documentation.
• Lead preconstruction meetings with Development, Sales, external Engineering, Operations and other stakeholders.
• Maintain the preconstruction schedule, budgets, and critical path to avoid delays.
• Identify and escalate risks that could impact cost, schedule, or client commitments.
• Ensure seamless turnover to Operations with complete documentation and knowledge transfer.
