Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Software Field Services Engineer to lead deployment, configuration, and support of DCIM software across customer environments. You will work with customers, project teams, and internal stakeholders to drive successful implementations and improve delivery quality.

The role requires a strong technical foundation, independence, and proactive delivery improvements, with travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of related experience in Software products for data centers.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, ongoing basis; no immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
Must be able to travel.

Responsibilities

Lead installation, configuration, and commissioning of DCIM software solutions in remote and on-site environments.
Take ownership of assigned projects from kickoff through completion, ensuring high-quality delivery and customer satisfaction.
Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution of deployment issues, including system performance and configuration challenges.
Apply strong working knowledge of DCIM architecture and supporting infrastructure to ensure excellent service delivery.
Serve as a primary technical point of contact during implementations; conduct customer training sessions and provide guidance on best practices.
Develop and maintain deployment documentation and contribute to internal knowledge bases.
