Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Systems Service Engineer to support mission-critical DCS/PLC/SIS environments. You’ll perform commissioning, troubleshooting, upgrades, and cybersecurity implementation while delivering lifecycle services to diverse customers.

Travel up to 75% within the southeast region (GA, FL, TN, NC, SC); residence in service territory preferred. Strong customer-facing skills and engineering discipline required for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial automation or control systems.
• Experience supporting, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining control systems.
• Ability to read P&IDs, electrical drawings, and control narratives.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote support for industrial automation systems.
• Configure, commission, troubleshoot, and optimize DCS, PLC, HMI, and SIS.
• Perform FAT/SAT, startup, and commissioning activities; document results.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Support cybersecurity best practices and adherence to safety standards.
