Job summary

Meta is seeking a DCIM Engineer to join our Design Engineering and Construction Operations Engineering team in Reston, VA. You will lead complex DCIM projects across facilities infrastructure and support global expansion initiatives, ensuring reliable load management and data center performance.

You will analyze DCIM system utilization, develop metrics from BMS data, review designs and as-built docs, and prepare specs, RFPs, and SOWs. Travel up to 30% to sites and vendors.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data center engineering, mission critical design, construction, operations, maintenance or related industry.
• 4+ years in two or more areas: Electrical Power Monitoring System implementation, DCIM evaluation/implementation, or Building Management System implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead technically complex DCIM engineering projects for facilities infrastructure operations.
• Escalation point for DCIM system issues in data centers.
• Troubleshoot and engineer enhancements for designs and processes.
• Analyze DCIM system utilization and audit performance.
• Generate measurements/reports from BMS and monitoring systems.
• Evaluate load management and capacity planning.
• Review DCIM designs, commissioning plans, and as-built docs.
• Develop specifications, RFPs, ROMs, and SOWs.
• Present findings to peers and leadership.
• Travel up to 30% to data center/vendor sites.
