Job summary

Johnstone Supply LLC is seeking a Material Handler II in Lancaster, TX to support receiving, stocking, picking, packing and shipping operations. You will operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment, verify shipments, and maintain accurate records.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and teamwork to ensure timely order fulfillment and inventory control. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification, and at least 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with 1+ years in a related role or training.
Experience operating forklift and warehouse equipment safely and competently.
Preferred knowledge of inventory management systems and OSHA regulations.
Ability to read, write, and perform basic math; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Operate power equipment (forklift, pallet jack) safely to move and stock products.
Receive shipments, unload trucks, and verify freight against packing lists.
Pack, label, and process orders for shipment; maintain accurate paperwork.
Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
Follow safety rules and keep work area clean and organized.
Communicate effectively with team and customers as needed.
