Job summary

Johnstone Supply is seeking a Material Handler I to support receiving, filling, and shipping products efficiently. The role involves operating forklifts, RF scanners, and packing orders while ensuring accuracy and safety in daily warehouse tasks.

Responsibilities include unloading inbound shipments, stocking inventory, and participating in cycle counts. Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED, forklift certification or willingness to obtain, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 0–1 year experience preferred.
• Experience with a picker, forklift, RF scanner, and inventory systems is preferred.
• Forklift certification required or willingness to obtain on the job.
• Must read, write, and understand basic instructions in English.
• Knowledge of OSHA and safety procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, fill, and ship products accurately and efficiently.
• Operate power equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) safely to move products.
• Unload products from trucks and verify condition and quantities.
• Pack orders, label shipments, and ensure proper paperwork is completed.
• Maintain accuracy and assist with inventory cycle counts.
