Job summary

Johnstone Supply, North America’s leading HVACR distributor, is seeking a Material Handler II to receive, fill, and ship products with accuracy and efficiency. You will operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment, verify shipments, and participate in cycle counts.

A forklift certification and GED/HS diploma are required, with OSHA safety knowledge preferred. Responsibilities include order fulfillment, packing, labeling, and maintaining a safe work environment while upholding Johnstone’s

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1+ years related experience or training.
• Experience operating forklift and warehouse equipment safely and competently.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems; OSHA and safety regulations knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate power equipment (forklift, pallet jack, electric pallet jack) safely to locate, store, and move products.
• Receive product by unloading trucks and verify condition and quantity.
• Ensure shipments are accurate and properly documented; complete necessary paperwork.
• Maintain correct barcodes and stock numbers; resolve labeling discrepancies.
• Fill and pack orders, prepare shipments, and document the process.
• Participate in inventory cycle counts and warehouse upkeep.
