Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking an DC Area Supervisor to lead a team of 20-30 hourly associates in a fast-paced distribution center environment. You will manage process execution, coach staff, and drive performance to meet safety, productivity and quality targets.

You will hire, evaluate, and develop team members, handle disciplinary actions, and liaise with Operations Manager to implement improvements. This role requires relocation flexibility and strong operational skills.

Qualifications

Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Flexibility to work various shifts
Ability to relocate

Responsibilities

45% Managing Process: Ensure operations procedures are followed and identify changes to improve efficiency.
25% Coaching and Developing Associates: Train and evaluate hourly associates; hire, discipline and terminate as needed.
15% Drives Results: Maintain inventory accuracy and improve key metrics like productivity and quality.
15% Business Planning: Coordinate operations to align with business plan and plan staffing accordingly.
Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned by management.
