Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly distribution team, focusing on safe, efficient, and productive operations. You will manage 20 to 30 associates, hire and evaluate staff, and drive process improvements across the distribution center.

You will coach associates, monitor productivity and safety, and work with management to achieve staffing and operational goals. This role requires flexibility with shifts and locations.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years supervisory experience in a related field.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and WMS.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• 45% Managing Process: ensures operations procedures are followed and identifies changes to improve efficiency.
• 25% Coaching and Developing Associates: trains and evaluates hourly associates; handles hiring, discipline and terminations.
• 15% Drives Results: maintains inventory accuracy and analyzes metrics for improvement.
• 15% Business Planning: coordinates staffing and production rates with business plans and reports.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by Operations Manager or General Manager.
