Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly team and drive efficient distribution center operations. You will hire, coach, and manage 20–30 associates, ensuring safety, accuracy, and productivity while delivering payroll and performance goals.

Your role focuses on process discipline, coaching, and planning to meet business targets and improve key metrics across inventory, quality, and cost control.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of work experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred; strong leadership skills required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• 45% Managing Process: follows procedures, identifies improvements, and supports operations leadership.
• 25% Coaching and Developing Associates: trains, evaluates, and counsels hourly staff; handles hiring and termination.
• 15% Drives Results: maintains inventory accuracy, analyzes metrics, and optimizes costs.
• 15% Business Planning: coordinates staffing and performance planning to meet business targets.
• Additional Duties: performs other tasks as assigned by management.
