Job summary

The Home Depot in Winchester, VA is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly team and influence the distribution group to run efficiently, safely, and productively. You will hire, evaluate, develop, and manage the performance of 20 to 30 hourly associates and drive process improvements across the operation.

You will coordinate staffing, monitor key metrics, and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Flexibility to work various shifts.
• Ability to relocate.
• 2+ years supervisory experience in a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage 20 to 30 hourly associates and lead distribution center operations.
• Ensure adherence to procedures and suggest process improvements.
• Coach and develop associates, conduct evaluations and handle hiring/discipline.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and drive productivity, safety, quality.
• Plan staffing and coordinate with Operations Manager/AGM/GM.
