Job summary

The Home Depot in Tampa, FL is hiring a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly team and drive efficient, safe distribution center operations. You will hire, evaluate, develop, discipline and terminate hourly associates, with direct supervision of 20 to 30 staff and collaboration with the Operations Manager.

You will coach, develop and evaluate performance, monitor productivity and quality, and ensure accurate merchandise handling while aligning with the business plan and daily targets.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Flexibility to work various shifts.
• Ability to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Managing Process: Enforces procedures and identifies improvements; collaborates with Operations Manager.
• Coaching and Developing Associates: Trains, evaluates, and provides feedback to hourly staff; handles hiring and discipline as needed.
• Drives Results: Maintains inventory accuracy and analyzes metrics to drive efficiency and reduce costs.
• Business Planning: Plans staffing to meet production goals and analyze performance against business plans.
• Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager or General Manager.
