Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Operations Manager to lead extensive distribution center functions, ensuring efficiency, safety, and strategic cost management. You will supervise multiple supervisors and a large hourly workforce to meet inbound, warehouse, outbound, and transportation goals.

Responsibilities include evaluating methods, driving continuous improvements, coaching staff, and partnering with 3PLs or carriers. A strong background in operations, leadership, and MS Office is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business or Supply Chain.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Must be open to relocation.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational excellence across inbound, warehouse, outbound and transportation areas.
• Assist leaders in evaluating work methods, procedures, controls and staffing for efficiency.
• Support DC objectives to drive continuous improvement and cost-to-serve reductions.
• Coach and develop associates; maintain a union-free, employee-centered environment.
• Maintain a culture of safety and monitor safety metrics regularly.
• Collaborate with the GM/3PL or carriers for outbound load performance when needed.
