Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience in operations management.
• At least 5 years’ management experience in a Distribution Center / Fulfillment Center.
• Strong experience with Lean principles, Six Sigma, and process improvement.
• Knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains, develops, motivates, and supports the distribution center teams.
• Develops and monitors production plans and staffing levels.
• Maintains safe work practices and environment.
• Oversees the DC’s P&L and budgets with managers to maximize productivity and targets.
• Implements process improvements to drive year-over-year gains.
• Leads DC network projects with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborates to standardize processes across the network.
• Supports strategy to drive revenue, performance, and profitability.
• Develops leaders and coaches for safety, service, productivity.
• Ensures communication and teamwork across staff and departments.
• Monitors policies and procedures for efficient delivery order processing.
• Maintains inventory controls to prevent shrinkage.
• Communicates up, down, across the business.
• Manages multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
