Job summary

NAPA is seeking a General Manager of Operations to lead the DC management team in a fast-paced distribution environment. You will drive safety, leadership, and operational excellence, delivering on budget goals and on-time delivery while coordinating across functions.

You will use Lean principles and Six Sigma to optimize processes, develop leaders, and foster an inclusive culture that emphasizes engagement and performance. Relocation may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years’ experience handling inventory/operational tasks.
• 5 years' management experience in a Distribution Center/ Fulfillment Center.
• Experience leading teams and driving safety and P&L targets.
• Knowledge of OSHA/DOT regulations and Lean/Six Sigma concepts.
• Willingness to relocate for future growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains, develops, motivates, and supports DC teams.
• Manages staffing levels to meet production plans.
• Prioritizes safety and ensures safe work practices.
• Oversees DC P&L with budget targets.
• Implements process improvements for year-over-year gains.
• Leads cross-functional projects to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Develops leaders and fosters employee engagement and retention.
• Communicates policies up and down the organization.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Experience in distribution/fulfillment operations

OSHA/DOT knowledge

Leadership and team development

Strong communication and organizational skills

Lean thinking / Six Sigma mindset
