Job summary

NAPA is seeking a General Manager of Operations for a White, GA Distribution Center. Lead the management team in safety, efficiency, and customer service, directing staffing, budgets, and cross-functional initiatives to deliver on-time delivery and cost targets.

You will apply Lean thinking and Six Sigma concepts, develop leaders, and foster a culture of safety, engagement, and continuous improvement across the DC network.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years’ experience handling inventory/operational tasks.
• 5 years' management experience in a DC / Fulfillment Center.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and ability to engage and motivate others.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with metrics, process improvement, and Lean thinking.
• Willingness to relocate for growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains, develops, motivates, and supports the DC teams.
• Develops and monitors production plans and staffing levels.
• Ensures safe work practices and a safe environment.
• Oversees DC’s P&L and works to meet budget targets.
• Drives process improvements and day-to-day optimization.
• Leads network projects with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Promotes standardization and collaboration across the network.
• Supports strategy to drive revenue and profitability.
• Develops leaders to coach and motivate staff.
• Maintains clear communication up, down and across the organization.
