USA GPC Genuine Parts Company is seeking a General Manager of Operations for our NAPA distribution center. Lead the facility's management team to drive safety, leadership, and operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Oversee P&L, staffing, and process improvements to meet budget targets and align with our 'safety first' culture. This role requires a four-year degree, 5 years in distribution ops, strong leadership and communication skills, and willingness to relocate.

Formación

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years’ experience handling inventory/operational tasks.
• 5 years' management experience in a Distribution Center / Fulfillment Center environment.
• Demonstrated leadership ability, with the ability to engage and motivate others.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Experience with activity-based performance metrics, process improvement, and Lean thinking with a track record of delivering ‘best in class’ operations.
• Willingness to relocate for future growth opportunities, a bonus.

Responsabilidades

• Hires, trains, develops, motivates, and supports the distribution center salaried and hourly teams.
• Develops and monitors production plans for the DC and ensures optimal staffing levels.
• Manages safety practices to support a safe work environment.
• Oversees the DC’s P&L and works with managers to meet budget targets.
• Establishes process improvements to drive year-over-year gains and streamline operations.
• Leads cross-functional DC network projects to improve logistics cost and effectiveness.
• Collaborates with leadership to standardize processes and foster teamwork.
