Job summary

Genuine Parts Company (GPC) seeks a General Manager of Operations to lead the distribution center's management team in a fast-paced environment. Focus on safety, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration to meet performance and budget goals.

Lead with accountability, drive process improvements, develop leaders, and foster a culture of inclusion and teamwork to maximize productivity and growth across the DC network.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years’ experience handling inventory/operational tasks.
• 5 years' management experience in a Distribution Center / Fulfillment Center environment.
• Demonstrated leadership ability with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with Lean thinking, process improvement and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains, develops, motivates, and supports the distribution center teams.
• Develops and monitors production plans for the DC and staffing.
• Manages safety practices and a safe work environment.
• Oversees P&L and collaborates to meet budget targets.
• Implements process improvements to drive year-over-year gains.
• Leads DC network projects and standardizes processes across teams.
• Develops leaders and fosters engagement and accountability.
