Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly team within the distribution center. You will guide 20 to 30 associates, drive safety, efficiency, and accuracy in merchandise handling, and work with management on goals and development.

Responsibilities include coaching, hiring and evaluating staff, and ensuring optimal operation through process improvements. This role reports to the Operations Manager and requires flexibility with shifts.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older and legally allowed to work in the United States.
Flexibility to work various shifts and ability to relocate.
Bachelor’s degree preferred; MS Office and WMS experience; 3+ years supervisory experience.
Minimum education: high school diploma or GED.
Minimum years of work experience: 2 years.

Responsibilities

Managing Process: ensure operations procedures are followed and improve methods.
Coaching and Developing Associates: train and evaluate hourly staff and handle HR actions.
Drives Results: maintain inventory accuracy and monitor key metrics.
Business Planning: align staffing with business plan and analyze reports.
Additional Responsibilities: other duties as assigned by leadership.
