Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is offering a 2027 DC Operations Summer Internship in Casa Grande, AZ. This onsite, 11-week program provides hands-on experience in distribution center operations and leadership, with exposure to inbound/outbound processes, inventory flow, productivity, safety, and team leadership.

Interns gain mentorship from experienced leaders, engage in professional development, and have opportunities to contribute to meaningful projects.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Rising seniors preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership experience through previous employment, internships, campus organizations, or other experiences.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Gaini hands-on experience across Distribution Center operations while developing understanding of product flow, productivity, quality, and safety.
• Partner with Distribution Center leaders and Team Members to support daily operational priorities and performance goals.
• Develop leadership skills through opportunities to communicate expectations, build relationships, and support Team Members in a fast-paced environment.
• Analyze operational challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend solutions that support business performance.
• Contribute to projects and initiatives focused on improving operational efficiency, quality, productivity, and safety.
• Demonstrate adaptability and sound decision-making when navigating changing priorities and operational challenges.
• Take initiative, demonstrate accountability, and apply feedback to continuously develop throughout the internship.
• Complete additional responsibilities and projects as assigned.
