Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is offering an onsite 11-week DC Operations Summer Internship in Franklin, KY, starting May 2027. Interns work alongside experienced leaders in a fast-paced distribution center, gaining exposure to inbound/outbound operations, inventory flow, safety, and leadership development.

Participants will lead, analyze performance, and contribute to meaningful projects while building leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in a hands-on environment with relocation

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's in supply chain, logistics, or related field.
• Demonstrated leadership through previous roles.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to relocate to and reside in the Franklin, KY area for the duration.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience across DC operations while learning product flow, productivity, quality, and safety.
• Partner with DC leaders and team members to support daily priorities and goals.
• Develop leadership through communication, relationship building, and teamwork.
• Analyze challenges, identify improvements, and recommend solutions.
• Contribute to projects aimed at improving efficiency, quality, productivity, and safety.
• Demonstrate adaptability and decisive action in changing priorities.
• Take initiative, be accountable, and apply feedback to grow during the internship.
• Complete additional responsibilities and projects as assigned.
