Johnstone Supply, a leading HVAC wholesale distributor, is seeking a motivated Material Handler III to join our Joliet warehouse. You will handle receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping while maintaining inventory integrity and safety standards.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts and RF devices, training teammates, and ensuring accurate paperwork. Candidates should have forklift certification and OSHA-savvy knowledge; the role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3+ years related experience or equivalent.
• Experience operating forklift and warehouse equipment safely.
• Experience with inventory management systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC wholesale industry, principles, and practices.
• OSHA safety regulations and procedures.
• Forklift certification required or willingness to obtain on the job.

Responsibilities

• Operate power equipment to locate, put away, stock, and move products daily.
• Receive product by forklift, pallet jack, or by hand.
• Inspect shipments for damage and verify against packing lists; complete paperwork for discrepancies.
• Verify bar code labels and stock numbers; print labels and resolve discrepancies.
• Pick, pack, and stack orders to minimize shipping damage; complete paperwork.
• Document shipment of hazardous materials; label cartons correctly.
• Prepare orders for shipment; palletize and wrap; load trucks; complete paperwork.
• Participate in inventory cycle counts and training of new employees.
