Job summary

Johnstone Supply, a leading HVAC wholesale distributor, seeks a Materials Handler I to receive, fill, and ship products accurately. You will operate forklifts and RF scanners, stock and count inventory, and ensure safety and paperwork compliance while maintaining efficient warehouse workflows.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and forklift certification (or willingness to obtain). Experience with inventory systems and OSHA safety procedures is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, 0–1 year related experience or equivalent.
• Experience with a picker, forklift, RF scanner, and inventory management systems.
• OSHA and safety regulations knowledge and adherence.
• Forklift certification required, or willingness to obtain on the job.

Responsibilities

• Operate power equipment (electric pallet, walkie rider, sit-down forklift) to locate and move products daily.
• Receive product by forklift, pallet jack, or by hand.
• Inspect shipments for damage, verify quantities, and complete paperwork.
• Scan products, print labels, and resolve labeling discrepancies.
