Johnstone Supply is seeking a DC Material Handler III in Joliet to handle receiving, picking, packing, and shipping across warehouse operations. You will use forklifts and RF tech, ensure accurate paperwork, and support cycle counts while upholding safety standards.

The role emphasizes knowledge of warehouse processes, attention to detail, and teamwork to maintain efficient, safe operations for Johnstone’s HVACR distribution network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3+ years warehouse experience.
• Experience operating forklift and warehouse equipment safely.
• Experience with inventory management systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC wholesale industry.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations.
• Preferred: Johnstone Supply warehouse experience at Material Handler II.

Responsibilities

• Operate power equipment safely to locate, store, and move products daily.
• Receive products by forklift or manual handling and verify shipments.
• Ensure accurate labeling, barcodes, and paperwork for inventory.
• Pick, pack, and ship orders with attention to minimizing damage.
• Document hazardous materials shipments and prepare packing lists.
• Assist in inventory cycle counts and training new staff as needed.
• Support continuous improvement and safety procedures.
