Job summary

Johnstone Supply, North America's leading wholesale distributor of HVACR equipment, parts, and supplies, is seeking a Material Handler I to receive, fill, and ship products accurately. You will operate forklifts, use RF scanners, and ensure paperwork is completed per SOPs in a dynamic warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include receiving, order fulfillment, packing, stock replenishment, and assisting with cycle counts while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 0-1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with a picker, forklift, RF scanner, and inventory management systems.
• Forklift certification required, or willingness to obtain on the job.

Responsibilities

• Operate power equipment (electric pallet, walkie rider, sit-down forklift) to locate, put away, stack, and move products daily.
• Receive product by unloading trucks using forklift, pallet jack, or by hand.
• Inspect shipments for damage and verify quantities against packing lists; sign freight bills as needed.
• Verify bar code labels and stock numbers, print labels, and resolve labeling discrepancies.
