Job summary

Johnstone Supply, the leading HVACR wholesale distributor, seeks a DC Material Handler I to join our Joliet warehouse. You will receive shipments, pick and pack orders, label products, and maintain stock levels while adhering to safety rules and company procedures.

Responsibilities include operating RF scanners and basic ERP systems, ensuring accuracy, and collaborating with team members to meet daily shipping goals. We value reliability and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, 0–1 year related experience or equivalent.
• Experience with a picker, forklift, RF scanner, and inventory management systems preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC wholesale industry and safety regulations (OSHA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive products by hand from trucks and verify against packing lists.
• Fulfill orders by picking, packing, and labeling; scan items into ERP system.
• Maintain stock accuracy, replenish shelves, and manage will-call areas.
• Ensure safe handling of products and safe operation of equipment; follow SOPs.
