Job summary

Johnstone Supply, a leading HVACR distributor, seeks a Material Handler I to join our Ocala, FL warehouse. You will receive, fill, and ship products accurately, operate forklifts and RF scanners, and ensure paperwork is complete.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 0–1 year related experience.
• Forklift certification required or willingness to obtain on the job.
• Experience with RF scanners and inventory systems preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate power equipment to locate, store, and move products daily.
• Receive products by unloading trucks using forklift or by hand.
• Inspect shipments, verify quantities, and complete paperwork.
• Ensure bar code labels and stock numbers are accurate.
• Fill and pack orders, document shipments, and prepare for transport.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and follow standard operating procedures.
• Participate in cycle counts and other related projects.
• Maintain required certifications and communicate professionally.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
