Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is offering a 2027 Distribution Center HR Intern program in Maumelle, AR. This onsite 11-week summer internship provides hands-on HR exposure, mentoring, and real contributions to HR initiatives within a fast-paced DC setting.

You will work with HR and Operations leaders on team member relations, recruiting, data analysis, onboarding, training, safety, and process improvement, gaining valuable experience across the Team Member lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field; rising seniors preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
• Ability to organize information, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced Distribution Center environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to relocate to and reside in the Maumelle, AR area for the duration of the internship.

Responsibilities

• Support communication and consistent application of HR policies, procedures, employment practices, and applicable regulations.
• Partner with HR leaders to support Team Member questions and workplace matters while building positive relationships across the Distribution Center.
• Assist with analyzing workforce data, exit interview feedback, and other HR metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Support recruiting activities for hourly and technical positions, including application review, candidate screening, interviews, and hiring initiatives.
• Assist with coordinating and facilitating training and development activities for Distribution Center Team Members.
• Support new hire orientation and onboarding activities to help provide a positive experience for new Team Members.
• Partner with HR and Operations leaders on safety-related initiatives, investigations, and efforts that promote a safe working environment.
• Contribute to HR projects and initiatives focused on improving processes, the Team Member experience, and overall Distribution Center effectiveness.
