Job summary

WebstaurantStore is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee daily preventive and corrective maintenance in our DC, prioritizing safety and efficiency. You will manage assets such as material handling equipment, conveyors, HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and office maintenance, reporting to the Operations Manager.

You will lead a team of facilities/maintenance staff, coordinate with leadership, and drive cost-efficient improvements while upholding safety and sanitation standards across the facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a facilities or maintenance-related role within a distribution center or similar environment.
• Knowledge of building maintenance and repair including HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, and industrial equipment maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise at least 15 facilities/maintenance employees across all shifts including preventative and corrective maintenance, cleaning, sanitation, and capital improvements.
• Manage facilities and maintenance budgets to achieve financial goals.
• Collaborate with operations to schedule downtime for maintenance to ensure efficient workflow and meet customer demand.
• Maintain maintenance management system for checklists and corrective actions across building assets.
• Coordinate 3rd party contractors, including quoting and on-site management, as main point of contact.
