Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to keep the Distribution Center's facilities and equipment in top condition. You will coordinate contractors, manage preventive maintenance, and respond to service requests to protect uptime.

The role requires hands-on skills in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and structural systems, strong project management, and careful budgeting. You will partner with Store Operations and Facilities Maintenance to deliver timely, cost-effective

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in General Business or equivalent; education can be substituted with experience on a year-for-year basis.
• Three years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience managing a Maintenance department.
• Strong administrative skills with advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Skilled in developing project presentations and updates.
• Must be detail-oriented, highly organized and able to manage multiple projects/tasks.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to work independently and exercise independent judgement.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with business in a collaborative environment.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with day-to-day facility maintenance processes.
• Analyze HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical and structural needs and perform basic repairs or oversee contractors.
• Maintain CMMS data and file retention.
• Receive, analyze and dispatch routine and emergency maintenance requests.
• Respond to emergency service calls by dispatching vendors and informing leadership.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs and adjust as needed.
• Develop partnerships with vendors for timely, cost-effective services.
• Monitor spending based on budget and facility priorities.
• Review and verify completion of service requests.
• Coordinate with Store Operations and Facilities Maintenance to keep them informed.
• Monitor punch list completion and document warranty work.
