Zusammenfassung

Global Industrial Company is seeking a Facility Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance for the distribution center and office. You will run predictive, preventive, and breakdown programs for PITs, conveyors, racking, automation, and more, while managing site facilities and safety systems.

You will lead a hands-on team, collaborate with cross-functional staff, and supervise third-party vendors to keep operations running at optimal capacity. Travel to network centers may be required.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years leading a maintenance program in a supervisory role.
• 5+ years hands-on maintenance experience on MHE, PIT, and building infrastructure.
• Experience maintaining building infrastructure and systems (safety, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.).
• Strong written and verbal communication across organizational levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and general office equipment.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
• Willing to work flexible hours including weekends and off-shift hours.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical duties.

Aufgaben

• Oversee installation, inspection, repairs, troubleshooting, and daily maintenance of building infrastructure and distribution center equipment in a cost-effective and expedient manner.
• Establish and manage preventive maintenance programs to improve reliability of critical equipment and reduce downtime.
• Perform scheduled and breakdown maintenance of facility and office equipment in a timely manner.
• Maintain facility in compliance with environmental, health, and safety policies and meet code requirements for commercial property.
• Identify process roadblocks and implement improvement ideas with site leadership.
• Maintain accurate spare parts inventory of critical MRO items.
• Oversee construction, renovation, and equipment installation projects as defined by management.
• Manage 3rd party vendors, contractors, and services including scheduling and invoicing.
• Mentor and coach maintenance technicians and support professional development.
• Conduct regular inspections to spot problems and gather associate feedback.
• Foster collaboration with operations, IT, engineering, vendors, contractors, landlord, and others.
• Maintain equipment history and repair/service documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Travel up to 25% to other network Distribution Centers as needed.
