Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly team and influence distribution operations toward safe, efficient, and productive results. You will hire, evaluate, develop, and discipline the team and ensure accurate merchandise handling across the center.

Responsibilities include coaching, monitoring performance, maintaining inventory accuracy, and coordinating with management on staffing and productivity plans. This role reports to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a related field.
• Proven leadership and coaching abilities.
• Experience with warehouse operations and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Lead an hourly team of 20 to 30 associates to meet DC goals.
• Ensure safe, efficient, accurate merchandise handling and processes.
• Hire, evaluate, develop, and discipline hourly staff.
• Monitor key metrics and drive productivity and inventory accuracy.
• Collaborate with Operations Manager and GM on planning and improvements.
