Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years in DB2 admin, data center, cloud, or complex IT infra.
• OR 8+ years of IT infra or database admin experience with relevant skills.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain DB2 v12 on z/OS.
• Tune performance using RUNSTATS, REORG, COPY, RECOVER, and related tools.
• Design and validate backup/recovery strategies.
• Monitor health, availability, logging, and performance.
• Support development teams with installations, migrations, and deployments.
• Open/track IBM support tickets through resolution.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure reliability and performance.
