Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Db2 for z/OS DBA experience including design, maintenance, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and production support.
• 3+ years with Db2 Administration Tools (e.g., QMF/Spufi) and Db2 utilities (LOAD, UNLOAD, RUNSTATS, REORG, COPY, RECOVER).
• 3+ years advanced SQL performance tuning, access path analysis, and index management in Db2 z/OS environments.
• 3+ years of JCL development, DBA job scheduling, and 24x7 production on-call support.
• 1+ year designing or supporting database replication in complex enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer Db2 z/OS and IDMS databases across production and non-production environments, including changes, releases, and migrations.
• Tune SQL, perform access path analysis, implement index recommendations, RUNSTATS, REORG, and monitor resource use.
