Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree desirable; pharmacy technician training preferred.
• 6 months pharmacy technician or healthcare experience required; hospital experience preferred.
• Current registration/licensure as Pharmacy Technician in the state of employment; PTCB certification required within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Distribute, prepare, package, label and deliver medications to patient care units.
• Maintain medication inventory and rotate stock to reduce waste and shortages.
• Demonstrate cross-functional proficiency across distribution, automation, purchasing, and sterile compounding.
• Operate and troubleshoot pharmacy technology and equipment used in daily workflow.
• Communicate with Nursing, Providers and staff; maintain HIPAA-compliant records.
• Support department goals aligned with YNHHS strategic objectives.
